Soda ash, scientifically called sodium carbonate, is a very common substance that is used for both industrial and domestic purposes. In this case, grades A and B are used somewhat differently. For example, powdered soda ash (B) is in demand in the manufacture of various cleaning powders and household chemicals, and granulated soda (A) is suitable for the production of electrovacuum glass. Polyamide 6 (PA 6) (nylon-6, polycaproamide, capron, caprolon) is a non-toxic structural high-molecular polymer material. The polymer has the following physical characteristics: high hardness and mechanical strength, wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, low density, good anti-friction and dielectric properties. Polyamide 6 dyes well and has good bonding properties. The surface of polyamide materials is smooth, resistant to fading and changing shape. The polymer does not release toxins upon contact with food. Polyamide is one of the cheapest and most widely used polymers.

Isobutyl alcohol or isobutanol is used as a solvent in the paint and varnish industry, for the production of esters, paints and all kinds of organic compounds. It is obtained, as well as butyl alcohol chemically close to it, by oxosynthesis from propylene.
