Knitting factory "Special Association-Siberia" was opened in the city of Barnaul in 2004. Initially, one type of product was launched into production - this is a white knitted glove with PVC coating. Currently, the assortment line includes more than 20 types of gloves: these are knitted, half-woolen and nylon gloves (three sizes, different colors, with and without PVC coating).
In 2007, as part of the investment project “Modernization and expansion of knitwear production”, implemented with the support of the Altai Territory Administration, more than 200 pieces of equipment were delivered to the factory. Thanks to the modernization, the factory reached its design capacity of 1.5 million pairs of gloves per month.
Currently, the knitting factory employs more than 300 people. The team of LLC “Spetsobedinenie-Sibir” is listed on the city Board of Honor “Glory and Pride of Barnaul” . For great successes in work and a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the Oktyabrsky district of Barnaul, the team of Spetsobedinenie-Sibir LLC is also listed on the regional Honor Board.
“Spetsobedinenie-Sibir” is the first Altai player in the market of personal protective equipment accepted into this structure. Joining the association allowed the Barnaul company to declare itself as a manufacturer of high-quality protective equipment at the federal level.
