Ryazan Tea Factory was founded in 1954. In Soviet times, the factory's products were awarded the State Quality Mark. For her excellent work, she was one of the four largest tea-packing factories in the USSR, which was entrusted with the production of the legendary "elephant tea."
The Ryazan tea factory purchases tea leaves directly on tea plantations and only from ecologically clean areas of India, Ceylon, China, Kenya and Vietnam. The selection of raw materials is carried out by highly qualified specialists-testers. Each new batch of goods before being put into production is thoroughly tested in its own laboratories.
The growing volumes of production and its quality are ensured by modern production technologies based on regular modernization of production. So, in 2006, the new Peter Binder GMBH line (Germany) was launched for packaging tea in disposable two-chamber filter bags with a label, in 2009 an additional multi-head was installed for packing large-leaf tea, in 2010 2 additional packaging machines were installed.
Developing traditions at the present time, the products of the factory regularly receive prizes and honorary diplomas at domestic and foreign exhibitions. Its customers are the largest retail chains such as Metro, Lenta, Globus, O'Key and many others. No wonder the replenishment of Russia's state reserve was entrusted to the Ryazan tea factory.
