OJSC “PROTON-MIET Plant” was established in 2004 on the basis of the Proton Experimental Plant of the Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology, which from 1978 - 1982 firmly established itself as one of the best production teams of the USSR Ministry of Education. Currently, OJSC PROTON-MIET Plant represents a modern, high-tech production, equipped with highly automated technological equipment and production lines. The main activity of the PROTON-MIET Plant, as in previous years, remains the manufacture of computers, electronic components and units both for civilian purposes and in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The location of MIET (TU) and the Proton-MIET plant in Zelenograd, the center of Russian microelectronics, creates additional opportunities for creating the most advanced microelectronic equipment, computer equipment and control systems, which has long attracted the attention of V and VT developers to creative teams research part (NICH) MIET (TU). The plant’s production is located on 6000 sq. M of production space and includes 3 main workshops, 1 auxiliary workshop and a site.
