Today Barnaultransmash is a specialized enterprise for the design and manufacture of marine, industrial, transport diesel engines, gas reciprocating electrical units and cogeneration electrical units (mini-CHP), stationary and marine diesel generators. Diesels produced by the enterprise are widely used on river and sea vessels, multi-axle chassis and tracked all-terrain vehicles, airfield maintenance vehicles, shunting diesel locomotives, drilling rigs, in road construction machinery, excavators and cranes, in stationary and mobile power plants. Two families of diesel engines with dimensions of 15x15, 15x18 are in production. The number of basic modifications is more than 400 items, currently more than 80 basic modifications are in demand. A characteristic feature is the high level of redistribution with the manufacture in the conditions of the enterprise of virtually all components and parts with the exception of electrical equipment and individual rubber goods.
Currently, the company is a joint stock company of an open type holding company, which has a full production and technological cycle, including procurement, forging, metallurgical, mechanical assembly plants.
