On October 15, 2008, RUSNANO Group of Companies, NPO Saturn OJSC and Gazprombank OJSC established a new company - Closed Joint-Stock Company New Instrumental Solutions.
On April 26, 2010, in the city of Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Region, the production of a monolithic carbide tool with a multilayer nanostructured coating began.
The main activity of NIR CJSC is the production of modern metal-cutting carbide tools with a multilayer nanostructured coating, built to the latest standards.

The mission of NIR CJSC is to provide the Russian aircraft industry with a domestic high-performance tool, and create a popular Russian brand.
