Currently, Balteks LLC produces synthetic and mixed fabrics of the following nomenclature: lining, jackets, wind-shelter, raincoats and backpacks. The enterprise has the ability to apply a wide range of finishes to the fabric: “Lake”, water-repellent, waterproof, oil-repellent finishes, polyurethane, “breathable” and “non-breathing” polyurethane foam, membrane coatings. The equipment installed at the enterprise allows manufacturing fabrics with a wide selection of printed patterns, and the possibilities in the color scheme are almost unlimited.
At present, Baltex LLC is the only company specializing in the production of nylon fabrics, which are characterized by high strength properties and high abrasion resistance (2–3 times higher than polyester fabrics), which makes fabrics especially in demand in the production of tourism and mountaineering equipment, leather goods, stalls, etc.
The unique technology for the production of biver fabrics for workwear distinguishes Baltex from other manufacturers. Thanks to this technology, a polyamide or polyester thread forms the front surface, gives the fabric a slight shine; wrong side - cotton, satisfies hygiene requirements. The fabrics are designed to work under conditions of increased mechanical stress and heavy pollution.
A number of fabric structures and patterns are approved by the Ministry of Defense, which allows LLC Balteks to successfully fulfill orders of power ministries and departments (winter and summer field suit, sleeping bag, raid backpack, cloak and other types of uniforms and ammunition).
The enterprise consists of weaving and finishing industries. In weaving, harsh fabrics are produced. The main equipment consists of: warping machines SL-180-X (Russia), sizing equipment manufactured by Zucker-Muller (Germany), hydraulic looms N-175-U (Czech Republic), shuttleless looms STB2-180-SHL (Russia) , pneumatic looms Picanol Omni (Belgium).
Finishing production provides the production of plain-dyed and printed fabrics with oil-water-repellent finish, Lake finish, film, polyurethane, polyurethane foam and other types of coatings.
Equipment for the Kyoto (Japan), Scholl (Switzerland), Tiss (Germany), Meccano-Tessile (Italy), and Ramish-Kleineferfers (Germany) equipment was installed in the finishing industry.
