The metalworking plant Metallokonstruktsiya was established in February 1979 in accordance with the order of the USSR Ministry of Construction dated 02.02.1979 No. 45, according to the order of Glavulyanovskstroy of the USSR Ministry of Construction No. 146-p dated 14.03.1979 as part of the Zhelezobeton industrial production association.
In 1989, the plant was liquidated and created as part of the Reinforced Concrete industrial industrial complex Integrated Technical Center. And in 1992, on the basis of the Order of the Property Management Committee of the Ulyanovsk Region, the state-owned enterprise Integrated Technical Center was transformed into an open joint-stock company Integrated Technical Center Metallokonstruktsiya.
In the early 2000s, a new era began for the enterprise - a period of technical and technological modernization. The plant became the first enterprise to test its road and bridge fencing for compliance with all required and claimed safety and reliability parameters in a landfill and to receive all relevant certificates and confirmations.
In 2011, the plant implemented two major investment projects: it launched a state-of-the-art two-wave beam profile production line and its own galvanizing plant, which was necessary to ensure a decent quality of anti-corrosion coating of the products and reduce the share of galvanizing costs in the cost of structures in order to keep the cost of structures at a competitive level . Today, KTZ Metallokonstruktsiya is completing the second hot-dip galvanizing plant, the launch of which is planned for 2017.

In 2012, CTC Metallokonstruktsiya JSC was recognized as the “Investor of the Year” and was awarded the title of “Strategic partner of the Ulyanovsk Region in the field of industry”.
For three consecutive years - in 2013, 2014, 2015 - CTC Metallokonstruktsiya held the title of economic leader in socio-economic indicators among large industrial enterprises of the Ulyanovsk Region, receiving from the Government of the region the title “Leader of the Economy” in the nomination “Best Organization of the Year” in the Ulyanovsk Region .
In June 2015 - after a meeting between the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and representatives of large industrial enterprises of Russia as part of the XIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - KTC, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation entered the metal structure into the list of enterprises that have a significant impact on the Russian industry and trade.
In the ranking of the socio-economic project “Elite of the Nation”, JSC “KTTS Metallokonstruktsiya” JSC in 2016 took the first line in the group of Russian metal construction manufacturers (according to OKVED code 28.11), rising 13 positions over the year.
Every year, the company expands the range of products. In 2013, the company began a phased launch of the production of lighting poles and prefabricated metal corrugated structures for engineering structures. In 2016, the plant acquired and launched a metal cross cutting line to optimize steel consumption. A production line of corrugated structures with a corrugation wave parameter of 200x55mm was also purchased and installed.
In the spring of 2016, as a result of the takeover of the Transbarrier company in Ulyanovsk, the steel structure was transported, installed and launched the production line of barrier barriers of the well-known Transbarrier brand to Ulyanovsk. The power of the line allows producing up to 6.5 km of fences per day.
In early 2016, production was launched in Kazakhstan (Uralsk).
To date, the plant has installed equipment of world leaders in the production of metalworking equipment. The reliability of the plant as a manufacturer is confirmed by the ISO 9001 certificate, which was first obtained by KTC Metallokonstruktsiya in 2013, and again in 2016, but this time a more well-known and serious certification body was chosen.
The products manufactured by the enterprise have all the necessary certificates of conformity (including the European CE_EN certificate), comply with the requirements of the Customs Union regulations. Today, the network of branches / representative offices and warehouses of the enterprise includes all major cities of Russia (St. Petersburg, Moscow, Ulyanovsk, Voronezh, Krasnodar, Rostov -on-Don, Simferopol, Yekaterinburg, Surgut, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Yakutsk, Khabarovsk), a number of countries of the Near Abroad, Germany, Poland, Lithuania. This supports the efficiency of deliveries of manufactured structures not only to the regions of Russia, but also to Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. The geography of the presence of KTs Metal construction continues to expand.
