In 1921, the Bernard-Albin GRA developed a series of lamps in Paris for the industrial and construction department. The GRA lamp, a patent will be bought by RAVEL in 1927, amazes with its ergonomics and the simplicity of its mechanics - screws or welding - which gives it strength. But Bernard-Albin-gras is also a leading lighting designer of the twentieth century: not content innovation on all fronts, he adds original functional aesthetics to her creations, including font drawing and links. Very quickly, Le Corbusier, seduced by her modern design and quality of use, takes in her agency and integrates many achievements around the world. Gras lamp is a legend. Follow Robert Mallet-Stevens, Jacques Ruhlmann, Eileen Gray, but also many artists like Sonia Delaunay and Georges Braque. This is the first time in the history of lighting lamps used both inside the company, as in the houses and apartments of architects. Today, this lamp lovers detail collection all over the world, mainly in Europe, the USA and Japan. An innate sense of aesthetics Bernard-Albin Gras transcended time.
