The foundry art production of brass interior items was launched by the Stilars factory in the 60s of the last century. In those days, the first brass candelabra were made by casting into the ground, while only manual labor was used.
In the future, the family tradition was continued by the son of Angelo Gobi, whose name is the craft workshop. He deeply studied mechanical processes, practiced a lot and improved his own technique using a pantograph, and in 1972 he acquired the first machines and created the company known today as STILARS snc
The name of the company of Latin origin from the words STILE (style) and ARTE (art).
Since that time, products are cast in metal molds. Which significantly improved quality and allowed the factory to surpass all its competitors in this. To date, the product range includes more than 2000 items. Together with brass, other materials are used, such as ceramics, glass and wood, as well as various finishes, such as aged (antique), silver plated, gilded, chrome and varnished.
