"Silikat.gl.uz" LLC started its activities in January 2012. It has on its balance two glass melting furnaces, a boiler room, an autoclave and various auxiliary equipment. It is engaged in the production of sodium silicate (lump silicate) and sodium hydroxide glass. The main emphasis in its activity is "Silikat.gl.uz" LLC is made to meet the various needs of consumers for the properties of silicate lumps and liquid glass and high quality control. Work is underway to introduce the ISO 9001 quality management system in production.
"Silikat.gl.uz" LLC is a manufacturing industrial enterprise. In their daily work, many questions arise from customers and stakeholders about production technology, quality and consumer characteristics, and the properties of sodium silicate and water glass. We will try to answer many questions.
The technological production cycle consists of several stages:
1. Preparation of a charge for loading into a glass furnace. At our enterprise, to control and improve the quality of finished products, enriched quartz sand with a SiO2 content of at least 98% that has undergone industrial cleaning, washing and drying and soda ash of the Kungrad Soda Plant is used.
2. Cooking batch in a glass furnace at t - 1350 o С. At our enterprise, to control and improve the quality of finished products, the glass furnace is equipped with an automatic control system, control of pressure, mixture formation and flow rate of gas and air, checking and regulation of temperature conditions during all zones of the furnace, control of complete melting and sintering of silicate.
3. Obtaining sodium silicate (lump silicate) from the oven. It implies proper cooling, crushing and storage of silicate for its further processing in an autoclave to obtain water glass or sale to the consumer as soluble sodium silicate (lump silicate).
4. Cooking sodium silicate (lump silicate) in an autoclave with live steam supplied through a pipeline to the autoclave to obtain liquid glass. Ltd. ”Silikat.gl.uz”, for quality control of finished products to standards, uses a modern rotating autoclave and a steam boiler with a capacity of 1 ton. steam per hour, the pressure in the autoclave is controlled at 0.7-0.8 MPa and the temperature is 150 o - 170 o C.
5. Distillation of liquid glass from the autoclave into a container for cooling, settling and filtration. Laboratory measurements on the quality of liquid glass - modulus, density, viscosity and stickiness, preparation for shipment to the consumer.
