Power cable consists of one or more copper or aluminum conductors in a special insulated protective sheath. Such cables are intended for transporting electricity from a source to a consumer or inside power systems of varying complexity. Depending on the insulation material used, the power cable is classified into several types of insulation: impregnated paper insulation; plastic insulation; XLPE insulation. XLPE copper or aluminum power cable is used for the transportation and distribution of electricity in stationary power systems with alternating currents (frequency 50 Hz) with a voltage of 10, 20 or 35 kV. cable marked PvPu , APvP , APvPu is used when laying in the earth's soil, independent of the corrosiveness of the soil.
