THE PROCESS
WHY IS THE WHITE HONEY IS VERY SPECIAL AND ROYAL HONEY?
The bees collect the nectar only from 1 flower ,named Sainfoin, which grows on top of the mountains only.
Sainfoin flower is one of the main flowers for white honey. It produces Nectar and Pollen for Honeybees and Bumblebees. This nectar is secreted exceptionally freely and is considered one of the highest yielding honey plants. This is one of the few honeys which is purely mono floral in Kyrgyzstan. The flowers of sainfoin attract huge numbers of insects. According to studies, sainfoin can attract ten times more bees than white clover. There are many beekeepers who consider sainfoin honey to be superior to that from any other source. When sainfoin flowers, it is so appealing to Honeybees that they will often ignore all other nectar sources to forage on it. Pollen is also gathered, it being one of the oiliest pollens available. sainfoin flowering in September will be making a big contribution towards bees winter reserves. Flowering time: May, June, July, August, September Kyrgyz honey is mono-floral honey which comes from the bees that feed exclusively on mountain pastures. Kyrgyz honey is famous throughout the Middle East for its distinctive flavour and purity. No chemicals or drugs are allowed in the production process and no machinery is used.We only supply raw honey, which has not been heat treated or pasteurised. These practices have long been used in industrial honey production to maintain shelf-life and consistency, but it also destroys some or all of the health giving nutrients within the honey itself.
The benefits of honey don’t just stop at the satisfaction of our taste buds. The powerful healing attributes of honey have long been used to promote health and healing. Both the holy Quran and Hadith's (Prophetic traditions) refer to honey as a healer of disease. In the Quran we read, “And thy Lord taught the bee to build its cells in hills, on trees and in people’s habitations... there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for humankind. Verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.” Additionally, in Sahih Bukhari we read that the Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Honey is a remedy for every illness and the Quran is a remedy for all illness of the mind, therefore I recommend to you both remedies, the Quran and honey.”
